Alex has been practicing Pilates for twelve years and teaching for over five years. Since first becoming introduced to it, through her dance training, she continued to educate and train to become a Pilates teacher with Body Control Pilates.
Alex continues to expand her knowledge and expertise through various BCP courses and workshops. Alex's movement background has a huge influence in how she structures classes, she is a creative teacher, with alignment, technique and flow of movement always being a priority.
Alex started FLEX Pilates in 2021, still in the midst of the pandemic. First teaching one class per week at St Swithun's church, now there are four matwork classes each week, a small group reformer studio as well as a brilliant team of teachers offering their knowledge and passion to the community of SE London.

Cloud started going to pilates as a client back in 2007 due to chronic back pain. Discovering that Pilates strengthened her body, lessened her pain and gave her back the joy of movement, she became hooked, and 10 years later decided to undertake her teacher training to share Pilates to the rest of the world! Before then and for over 15 years, Cloud was a Global Advertising Director, so she has a good understanding of how the body reacts to long hours in the office. Now with her Pilates knowledge, she can help you to release any tension and strengthen your body, to not only look good, but withstand all types of environments.
Since 2017, Cloud has been a fully qualified Mat Pilates Instructor, and in the last 3 years, she has also been teaching the Reformer. Cloud teaches mixed ability classes with a focus on the breath to connect students to the optimum level of their own body movement and mind control. Her classes start off slow and work up to a dynamic, powerful class with suitable modifications along the way to tailor to individual needs and allow you to work at your own level.

At the age of 40 I attended my first Pilates mat class in SE Asia where I used to live. I immediately loved it and I was blessed with having amazing teachers.
To my great surprise, not long after I started Pilates, I was told I should teach it.
A few years later I moved to the Middle East and at the age of 45 I became a Stott Pilates Certified instructor as well as a LesMills Cycling instructor, Xtend Barre and Exercise to Music
I started teaching immediately after completing my courses.
I took up running and within 2 months run a half marathon in 2 hours and did a sprint triathlon days after my 46 birthday.
I have now been back in London for the last 8 years and at the end of 2021 I completed my 200 hours Yoga TT , just after I turned 54.
My philosophy is that age is technically just a number as if you set your mind to it you can achieve your any goals you set yourself.
I am very focused on technique, alignment, body and mind awareness because that is the way to start, build and progress in any discipline.
I am passionate about travel and tropical climates are my favorite.
I do not come from an early fitness background as I studied French and English Law at Uni, moved to London for a good decade and worked in 5* Park Lane hotel chains.
Because I am an ‘all around’ my background and experience reflect in my classes as well as my own discipline to perform exercises to my own high standards.
My classes are fun, engaging and knowledgable.
